Electrical Engineer en Element Materials Technology

Visión de conjunto:Element has an opportunity for an Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.  The engineer position must be proficient in a number of core business and technical skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures. Salary: $70,000 - $90,000/yr DOE   Responsabilidades:- Provide technical and engineering leadership, and supports the development of new technologies within a local laboratory- Be accountable for accurate and timely release of testing data to customers including sign-offs of quality control data as acceptable- Be expected to obtain guidance in non-routine situation testing- Have the ability to oversee standard and/or routine technical problem solving activities- Interact with customers on technical issues and questions- Provide Input and support on business development opportunities with new or existing customers- Be confident in making both formal and informal presentations on conventional and/or routine testing to a wide range of stakeholders- Assist in the professional development of novice technicians and engineers within the local laboratory- Carry out crucial examination and implementation of testing concepts and data- Utilize an assortment of skill, methods, procedures and materials in advanced testing analysis- Be adept at drawing on internal knowledge as well as industry and/or academic resources in reaching testing conclusionsHabilidades / calificaciones:- Nuclear Qualification or Nuclear Commercial Grade Dedication a plus- Working knowledge of laboratory safety- Possess a high level of expertise related to scope, core theories, concepts, terminologies and boundaries of chosen engineering discipline- Possess a Bachelors of Science degree in a science or testing related field- Have a minimum of 2 years’ pertinent post degree engineering experience, or advanced academic/professional qualifications- Possesses a demonstrated ability to apply academic knowledge within the context of Element’s business- In-depth understanding of testing concepts- Can analyze and compiles testing data from the tests performed- Possess strong computer skillsDescripción de la compañía:Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
