Holiday Design Technician en Rainbow Companies

Salary Range: $20-$22/hour

As a Holiday Lights Technician for Rainbow Holiday Design (a division of Rainbow Companies), your primary responsibility will be to perform a variety of duties daily related to the set-up, maintenance, and take down of holiday lighting on homes and commercial businesses. Experience in light installation, landscaping, and/or customer service is a plus but not required. We will train anyone passionate about working outdoors for our 100% employee-owned local company.

This is a full-time weekday position based in Minnetonka, MN with a start time of 6:30am. As part of our technical team, you may be cross trained on other outdoor services and support those teams as needed. You will transition to our Lawn Care team in the spring!

What You Will Do:

• Install our products and perform services according to company, state, and federal standards
• Electronically record all services promptly in our database
• Communicate with homeowners in a positive, professional manner

What You Need:

• High school diploma or a GED
• Valid driver’s license and a commitment to safe driving
• Ability to work long days outdoors with possible overtime, in all terrain and inclement weather
• Obtain pesticide applicator’s license within 30 days of start (we will pay for test)

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Work is performed outdoors in any weather element. May be required to bend, reach, stoop, and lift objects; may be exposed to conditions including chemicals, the use of tools, and equipment. Safety precautions must be followed at all times, including the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and other safety equipment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at any given time.
