Global order management

The role

As a local Global Order management you will be the first point for the Customer Care Team. Your goal will be to handle orders within the ERP system and support enquiries from the relevant departments in the organization. Your main task is to provide support internally to ensure customer satisfaction. The position is based in Portugal (Porto). The role is hybrid based and you will be part of dynamic team that is linked to a larger global group as well as with our factories from different geographical regions.

Primary responsibilities

As local Global Order management you will be responsible for:

  • Booking orders in ERP system

  • Liaising with other departments to ensure on time request for all orders is achieved

  • Arrange shipment and pick-up of equipment for special carriers

  • Handle local inventory and orders

  • Handle trade-in returns (RMA) locally and returns to the factories

  • Handle credit and rebills for invoice correction

  • Assist the Finance Department with orders/invoices enquiries (portals)

  • Customer Online Portal management

  • Answering incoming internal requests

  • Handling general administrative tasks and efficiency assistance activities

  • Other miscellaneous tasks as business requires

Professional qualifications and personal skills

  • ERP experience

  • Experience from a sales or service function where customer satisfaction has been paramount

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong team and interpersonal skills

  • Task-oriented, self-motivated and flexible

  • Driven by customer satisfaction

  • A robust personality and the ability to multi-task and handle stressful situations
