About the role
We are looking for a Cyber Concierge to join our growing Cyber Security team. This is a crucial role that allows us to develop positive relationships with Aspire's Security customers, providing guidance to help the customer improve their security posture, whilst acting as a bridge between the technical security team and customers.
Working collaboratively with customers in support of their Security requirements, you will be able to build long-lasting, mutually beneficial partnerships that focus on providing real value to customers to ensure that they continue to benefit from the services Aspire provide.
What you will be doing
Client Engagement & Strategic Advisory
- Serve as the primary client contact, fostering strong relationships and aligning cybersecurity strategies with business needs.
- Develop and review 12-month roadmaps, threat models, and conduct periodic security reviews, providing actionable recommendations based on SOC insights.
- Translate technical incidents into business impact, advising on remediation and security posture improvements.
- Support sales by scoping services, completing security questionnaires, and demonstrating organizational security capabilities.
Security Operations & Analysis
- Act as liaison for escalated incidents, analyzing SIEM data, reports, and vulnerability scans to identify threats, risks, and remediation opportunities.
- Deliver clear technical reports and documentation to support incident response and strengthen client environments.
Threat Intelligence & Continuous Improvement
- Research and share industry-specific threats to enhance SOC detection rules and incident response capabilities.
- Advance technical expertise through hands-on work, mentoring, and continuous learning.
Technical & Procedural Knowledge
- Build knowledge of SOC workflows, service stacks, and licensing models that influence security posture.
You will suit the role if you have
- Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity or related IT fields, with knowledge across key domains such as network security, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, and IAM.
- Hands-on experience with risk assessment, vulnerability management, and security frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled at translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and producing clear documentation (e.g., policies, procedures, reports).
- Collaborative team player committed to continuous learning and staying current with the evolving cybersecurity landscape.

Salary
£45,000 to £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location and Working Arrangements
You will be based at Aspire’s Gateshead head office with travel as required.
Hours of work
37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
