Field Training Security Officer – Full Time – Phoenix, AZ

The Field Training Officer (FTO) serves as the principal training resource for a datacenter campus or metro location. In addition to providing training, job functions may include problem resolution, service enhancement, and process improvement as it pertains to safety and training. The Field Training Officer reports directly to the Campus Security Manager, and will work closely with other site, regional, and headquarter leadership.

The ideal candidate will be reliable and self-motivated. They must have previous experience in developing a high performing team with strong customer service skills and great communication while adhering to our core values; Integrity, Vigilance, & Helpfulness.

What Your Day May Look Like

  • Serve as primary point of contact for onboarding and sustainment training.
  • Trains and certifies new security personnel and maintains required training documentation.
  • Spends time in the field conducting in person training with security officers.
  • Prioritizes safety awareness among the campus team and champions safety initiatives developed at the global and regional program level.
  • Ensures all site personnel adhere to policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Conducts recurring audits and prepares and submits critical and confidential information to campus leadership.
  • Evaluates and escalates potential safety issues within the facility.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.

Position Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have reliable means of transportation (public or private).
  • Must have reliable means of communication.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficient in basic computer and technology use.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, achieve results, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills a must.
  • All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screen process, including drug screen and background investigation.
