Supervises the day-to-day administrative and clinical area of assigned staff. Ensures established patient care, and operational/employee policies are upheld and maintained. Leads or mentors lower level team members.
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm (May be required to work outside of normal working hours to provide patient care as needed)
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintains the provider’s schedules ensuring daily staff schedules/coverage is appropriate for clinic visits.
- Ensure all provider schedules are proactively managed and consistently filled to maximize daily productivity and patient access.
- Exercises supervisory controls for employees related to time and attendance and work assignments.
- Coaches, trains and evaluates staff, monitors compliance and spot checks staff performance.
- Ensures clinic staff is in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Reviews reports and assists staff with understanding the significance of the report information.
- Performs primary medical functions and directs patient care.
- Assesses staffing needs, maintains masterwork schedule, and makes staffing recommendations to management.
- Maintains inventory of all clinic supplies.
- Review clinic operations monthly metrics and identify improvements.
- Enhanced operational efficiency, minimized disruptions in service delivery, and improved staff morale through proactive support. Actively supports team operations by assisting staff as needed, with particular attention to areas experiencing staffing shortages to ensure continuity of service and patient care.
- Effectively manage and resolve problems or complaints in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring appropriate follow-up to maintain service quality and patient satisfaction.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of service delivery protocol and treatment standards.
- Ability to give and receive feedback, both informally and formally.
- Ability to provide a high standard of record keeping.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Contribute to a collaborative and creative work climate by maintaining frequent, meaningful engagement with clinic staff to promote high morale, motivation, and a strong sense of team commitment.
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office.
- Endocrinology and Diabetes experience preferred.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or GED is required.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Active CPR/BLS required.

- Front-loaded Paid Time Off: 128 to 208 hours (16 to 26 days) of Paid Time Off based on years of service, given at the start of each fiscal year. PTO may be prorated in year one based on date of hire.
