The Warehouse Coordinator/Lead is the primary point person to oversee the Inventory/Quality support and research activities within Outbound as well as provide detailed reporting on those efforts.  This role involves directing Arhaus employees and temporary associates under the direct supervision and guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor. In this role the lead will ensure our Inventory/Quality support, research and reporting processes are executed as designed in a timely manner to support root cause problem solving. 

·        Team leaders are expected to:

·        Set the tone and provide leadership, supervision, and direction to assigned Distribution Center team members and temporary associates assigned to you on a daily basis.

·        Support other departmental leads within all areas.

·        Support management initiatives on and off the floor in every aspect of their role to ensure compliance with policies/procedures, process improvement, and drive team member initiatives.

 

·        Maintain, refine and/or improve processes within the area to meet customer requirements which include deadlines and quality standards.

·        Provide a positive and engaging working environment focusing on the DC metrics including housekeeping standards are developed into daily processes.

·        Nil research: Daily reassignment research. Research the top ten NIL’s for the week. Capture and report findings daily.

·        Returns QI Feedback:  Coordinate the pull, photos and inspection for high volume return items.

·        Location reports- SHP locations and trailer location reports:    Work with the leads, supervisor and inventory to resolve items on the location reports.

·        Audit Management:  20% audit of all inbound/outbound loads. Document all ownership and findings for audits- daily/weekly/monthly recaps to Management as appropriate.

·        Special projects:  Oversee special projects, new store openings, and other projects as needed.

·        Support Metric Tracking and Reporting as needed (PPH tracking, Equipment Tracking, Attendance. And other areas as needed).

·        Displays a high degree of integrity, honesty and takes responsibility for one’s own actions; shows consistency between words and actions

 

·        Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred

·        Years of experience: No less than 4 years of warehouse experience

·        Computer proficiency: proficient in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar suite

·        STORIS experience and knowledge strongly desired.

·        Experience in a Warehouse Management system desired (Manhattan strongly desired).

·        Ability to train individuals in the putaway, pulling and warehouse processing functions

·        Dedicated to business and willing to adjust schedule and hours as needed to support the department’s needs

·        Will be standing while performing their respective job function for extended periods of time.

·        Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling

·        No physical limitations that limit the ability to carry and move furniture weighing up to 150 pounds.

·        Will need to be certified on a reach truck and pallet jack

·        Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.

 

·        Work performed in a warehouse type facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions

·        Safety glasses and steel toe shoes required, additional safety equipment provided based on specific job.

·        Work surfaces are primarily concrete.
