Provides direct oversight of the patient access process and patient access staff. Ensures that complete and accurate patient account information is collected and entered into the hospital record. The employee must ultimately be able to understand the specific communication and developmental needs of patients ranging in age from adolescent to geriatrics.

Requirements

Education:

· High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

· Data Entry/Computer skills, communication skills. Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.

· 3 years patient access experience preferred.
