F3 – Airport, a division of Founders 3 Management Company, is looking to add a Fleet Maintenance Technician to our team at the Muskegon County Airport. If you are looking for a growing company that invests in its employees then F3 – Airport is the place for you.

As a member of our Maintenance team, the Fleet Maintenance Technician will provide the maintenance and repair of airport owned vehicles, heavy duty trucks, and equipment. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, routine inspections, testing, parts and supplies inventory, and accurate record keeping of repairs and preventive maintenance.

In addition, the Fleet Maintenance Technician will also assist the airport maintenance staff with the general upkeep of the airport, airfield, and airport owned facilities. Training will be provided for these responsibilities which include the capability to drive on an active airfield through the use of FAA Air Traffic Control radios, snow removal operations, completion of FAA required airfield inspections, pavement repairs, fence/gate repairs, facility upkeep, and basic infrastructure repairs (i.e., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, etc.).

Requirements

 Required:

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Valid MI Driver's License - CDL-B or able to successfully complete testing and obtain this endorsement within 1 year of employment.
• State of Michigan license and certifications in automobile/light truck and heavy-duty truck repair. 
• Upon completion of training, the successful candidate must be able to safely navigate the airfield independently under FAA Air Traffic Control radio communications and procedures.
• Must be proficient in the use of electronic equipment, computers, hardware and software for data documentation, inspection reporting, work order generation and equipment operation.

Preferred:

• Airport maintenance or operations background.
• Facility maintenance experience in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, pavement, landscaping and snow removal.
