Key Responsibilities

  • Forecasting & Reporting
    • Develop and maintain accurate monthly demand forecasts, tracking sales performance against targets and identifying variances.
    • Generate structured and ad hoc reporting on sales trends, market opportunities, and account performance to support data-driven decision-making.
    • Conduct inventory optimization analyses and audits to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
  • Customer & Account Support
    • Act as a day-to-day resource for OEM and furniture customers, managing service requests, portal inquiries, and product information needs.
    • Coordinate customer sample requests, color approvals, and project-specific requirements to support sales execution.
    • Partner with the National Account Manager and Channel Sales Manager to deliver solutions that enhance revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Business Development & Market Research
    • Research and identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and emerging markets.
    • Monitor competitive activity—including product launches, pricing, and distribution—and share insights to influence sales strategies.
    • Support lead generation efforts by proactively uncovering and qualifying potential customer opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Serve as a liaison between Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Customer Service to ensure seamless execution of customer programs.
    • Respond to COM (customer-owned material) pricing and lead-time inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
    • Contribute to the development of customer-focused programs and field sales tools, including color palette recommendations and program updates.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities; able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across internal teams and with external customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting/analytics tools; ERP/CRM experience required. Salesforce experience preferred. 
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn with a growth mindset.
