Material Handler, Warehouse --10:30pm -7am Overnight Shift en Hilco Vision

Hilco Vision has a state-of-the-art facility in Fairfield, Ohio! We are currently searching for an experienced Material Handler to join the team! The Material Handler is responsible for conducting put-aways, transferring shipments to their designated areas, and overall material replenishment for the department. 

The hours for this role are 10:30pm - 7:00am, Sunday - Thursday, we pay weekly.

Qualifications:

• Adhere to all organizational safety practices including following appropriate procedures, as well as the proper wearing of required PPE in designated areas
•  Attention to detail and processes in order to reach a common goal of producing a great product for all customers
• Able to work independently and within a team environment; understanding that the customer need is of the utmost importance
• Understanding of the basic operations of a distribution center
• Able to read inventory reports and conduct basic math calculations
• Comfortable with using a ladder.
• Capable of lifting boxes that weigh up to 30lbs

Responsibilities:

• Review the inventory for packaging supplies and reorder as necessary. Materials include, but are not limited to ice packs, corrugated boxes, packing paper, box tape etc.
• Replenish shipping stations, and pick carts with materials pickers and shippers use throughout the day
• Replenish totes throughout the warehouse as needed
• Prep and wrap pallets using automated pallet wrap and pallet jacks
• Transfer packages from our shippers to designated consolidation areas
• Organize inventory locations based on product demand, quantity and size

Physical Requirements

• This role requires the ability to lift 40lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Incentive Plan:

• Attendance- Employee must have worked 85% (148 hours) of the working days in a given month for the home department earning the incentive.
• Productivity- Must have efficiency more than 85% minimum for the month.
• Violations- If an employee receives a write up due to a policy violation or quality issue, they will not be eligible for the incentive for that month.
• Employment- Must be a full time Hilco employee for more than 30 days. The employee must be actively employed on the date of the incentive payout to receive it.
