The Homeless Outreach Program Manager oversees the day to day operations of all Homeless Outreach staff including: PATH, SNOFO, SOAR and The Outreach Where You Live (OWL) Team. They assure that the teams are able to provide unhoused individuals seeking assistance the necessary tools to accomplish their goals. The Program Manager will maintain a schedule of operations for the Outreach Teams including but not limited to hours of operation, use of equipment and supplies as well as a coordination of external support providers that may be able to further the individuals’ attempts to end their homelessness. They will maintain all required records of the usage of the services provided by the program. The Program Manager is responsible for the supervision of street outreach staff.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises all staff within the Outreach Team to ensure appropriate service delivery through observations and supervision in accordance with CHD Supervision policy
- Assist with public relations work including training efforts involving community leadership
- Research and seek out additional community resources/relationships to enhance potential service referrals and support
- Create and maintain relationships with state, city and community agencies/resources including facilitating relationships with agencies not currently working with the unhoused
Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree in Mental Health related field preferred
- HS Diploma or GED required
- One year supervisory experience required, two years in a human service organization preferred
- Two years’ experience working with adults with severe and prolonged mental illness and/or two years experience working with people in recovery
Salary:
Starting at $55,000 annually
