We are seeking to hire one Quality Inspector for the day shift (6:00am-2:30pm). This individual will be joining our team at our factory in Tucker, Georgia.
Must be detail oriented, adhere to internal and external requirements, and have both written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to read and understand process descriptions and procedures; and check for compliance to those procedures.

General Duties & Responsibilities:

Basic Requirements:
- Ability to accurately count and perform basic math
- Must be able to read and understand detailed inspection criteria.
- Work professionally and courteously with Production Operators to meet quality and business requirements.
Job-Specific Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process quality inspection of product; verify job set-ups.
- Verify completion, accuracy, and timeliness of documentation.
- Accurately perform quality inspection, sorting, and/or rework of products & packaging per applicable Visual Inspection Work Instructions and product Packaging Specifications.
- Perform 100% inspection of product, (aka Safe Launch), utilize Quality Alerts, ensure Certification / Containment Actions are understood, followed, implemented.
- When required, segregate and identify suspect or nonconforming product from process flow.
- Participates in product inspection, sorting and containment activities; including confidently and accurately establishing a “clean point” and identify “Certified Material”, as necessary.
- Verify process compliance. Read and understand the process descriptions, inspection requirements, and machine settings.
- Perform visual inspection of product.
- Verify that product is being measured, work instructions are being followed, processes are being followed.
- Inspect product using common measurement tools - calipers, inspection fixtures, tensile tester, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- Detailed record keeping
- Ability to communicate well with production associates, Team Leaders and supervision, Engineers, and Management.
- Experience working in an IATF16949, ISO9001, or similar quality system, preferred
- Ability to use computer software to record and retrieve information - MS Word, Excel, ERP and similar database, preferred
Supporting Technical Competencies:
- Able to lift 20lbs
- Work overtime as required
- Available to work other shift, when necessary
- Operate production machines, as necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned
