JOB TITLE: Senior Account Manager
DEPARTMENT: Sales
REPORTS TO: District Manager
SUMMARY: The Account Manager manages and grows relationships within one or more accounts. Focused on delivering chemical solutions tailored to the customers’ production operations, including flow assurance, corrosion and scale control, emulsion breaking, and sour gas mitigation. Acts as a point of contact for the customer, ensuring program performance, addressing technical challenges, and identifying opportunities to optimize chemical usage and field outcomes. They will ensure consistency in technical and customer service levels as well as manage customer relationships by assisting account/technical representatives on sales calls, surveys and recommendations. Works in close collaboration with field personnel, lab teams, and operations. This is a senior-level sales role, working with other members of the sales team and direct and mentor field service technicians on assigned accounts; reports to District Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages existing chemical business for a specified geographic area/customers
- Develops and controls individual customers business plans in coordination with Regional Management
- Provide comprehensive mechanical, diagnostic, and analytical service to provide excellent customer service
- Directly addresses customer’s requests, investigates, and resolves customer issues, ensuring that company devices interconnect with file servers, email servers, and financial systems seamlessly.
- Coordinate with Regional Management & Technical Services teams to execute sales strategy and generate sales growth.
- Ensure mutually agreed promises are delivered during transition period of new business in District or Area
- Support development of new customer contact plans in coordination with Account Management team
- Keeping an inventory of all company electronic assets.
- Promote high level of EHS awareness within the Region and participate in all company EHS training and rules
- Act as an integral part of the regional sales expansion efforts
- Manage quality improvement and progress through innovation and Dorf Ketal Excellence in all areas of the business
- Communicate with key stakeholders, customers, vendors, and personnel to ensure objectives are met
- Manage respective team and deployment
- Implement Dorf Ketal Performance Management tools, set targets, and monitor contingency plan for responsible area
- Develop team to full potential, e.g. evaluation, training, coaching, appraising, talent identification, etc.
- Build and motivate a strong team that delivers value and helps meet objectives
- Executes go-to-market strategy for target industry segments within the frame of global market segment strategy
- Represent company to customers in a professional manner at all times
- Builds and ensures frequent personal contact/relationship with specific customers
- Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality
- Support and assist in implementing and maintaining certified management systems ascribed to by DKC such as ISO 9001. Identify training needs of personnel. Promote awareness of risks and opportunities associated with their work. Maintain an understanding of the Quality policy and how they personally contribute to meeting DKC objectives and goals
- Support and assist in implementing and maintaining the RCMS program. Identify training needs of personnel. Promote awareness of the RCMS guiding principles and Dorf Ketal's HSSE policy, objectives and goals in addition to how they can contribute to them.
- Other projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, presentation skills, and problem-solving ability
- Ability to be a team player
- Ability to obtain all necessary clearances and certifications
- Skilled in Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving ability with customers, personnel, operations, and chemical solutions
- Ability to travel moderately to frequently
- Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 6+ years of experience in oil and gas industry with progressive experience
- Oilfield Chemical Service experience is preferred

Work Conditions:
This position requires working in an outdoor environment, often in remote locations and/or with exposure to extreme weather conditions, moderate to loud noise levels. Employees will need to be able to stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl, bend, feel with hands and fingers, push, pull, reach, walk, stand, climb (stairs/ladders/equipment,) lift (up to 50 lbs.), and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
