We are looking to add an experienced and talented Quality Assurance Associate to our team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the logging, reproducing, distributing, storing, retrieving, and updating of electronic versions of documents such as procedures, work instructions, forms, and records. Additionally, is responsible for the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and all associated documents. In this position, you will work closely on an integrated team of Cesium managers, engineers, and other cross-functional personnel.


We are looking to add an experienced and talented Quality Assurance Associate to our team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the logging, reproducing, distributing, storing, retrieving, and updating of electronic versions of documents such as procedures, work instructions, forms, and records. Additionally, is responsible for the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and all associated documents. In this position, you will work closely on an integrated team of Cesium managers, engineers, and other cross-functional personnel.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supports and facilitates process improvement training and improvement projects to drive business results across the organization
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and all associated documents, files, and records
  • Responsible for controlling and maintaining the engineering change and documentation tracking process with emphasis on Bills of Material (BOMs), specifications, drawings, models, and documentation to ensure appropriate changes are documented
  • Responsible for controlling and issuing part numbers for newly created parts or documents and tracking the history, revision levels, and status through the life of the parts/documents
  • Create, implement, and finalize engineering change orders (ECOs) and makes system changes
  • Ensure documents are properly reviewed, updated, approved, and released to remain in control
  • Support QMS Management Reviews, assisting with the writing report and tracking actions
  • Support with corrective action and process improvement activities
  • Support internal, external, and AS9100 quality audits
  • Assist in the resolution of audit findings, observations, and recommendations
  • Responsible for coordinating the QMS training program
  • Support the development and implementation of performance metrics
  • May provide influence with awareness, knowledge, and guidance of Lean and/or Six Sigma principles, methodologies, and tools to support the achievement of business objectives
  • Assist with other QA duties as assigned.


  • JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience. Formal education/training may be considered in lieu of experience requirements.
  • Strong working experience in RCCA methodologies & tools.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner.
  • Exceptional digital, written, and verbal communication skills.


  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in the aerospace or electronics industry.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience with ERP and PLM software systems (preferably Acumatica and Arena).
