We are seeking a Senior Manager, Total Rewards, to help lead the strategy, design, and execution of our compensation, benefits, and payroll programs, including short and long-term incentive plans. This role partners closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to ensure Total Rewards offerings align with organizational goals, support talent strategies, and enhance employee engagement and retention.
This position balances strategic leadership with hands-on program management, overseeing a small, high-impact team responsible for daily payroll, benefits, and compensation administration. The Senior Manager will provide both strategic direction and operational support to ensure seamless program delivery.

Responsibilities
- Execute and manage compensation, benefits, and incentive programs that support business objectives.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to ensure programs are aligned with organizational needs and talent strategies.
- Support the development and communication of a Total Rewards strategy that reinforces the company’s value proposition.
- Conduct market benchmarking and job evaluations to support pay decisions.
- Administer annual compensation processes, including base pay planning, merit cycles, and salary structure maintenance.
- Manage the administration of short-term incentive (STI) and long-term incentive (LTI) programs, including eligibility tracking, communications, and payouts.
- Provide analytical support on incentive plan performance and funding models.
- Oversee daily administration of health, welfare, retirement, and wellness benefit programs.
- Partner with brokers and vendors to ensure optimal program value and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with benefits regulations (ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Liaise with internal payroll and finance teams to ensure timely, accurate payroll execution.
- Provide support for payroll-related questions, audits, and reconciliation.
- Deliver reports and insights to business and HR leaders to inform compensation and benefits decisions.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local compensation and benefits laws.
- Maintain program documentation and operating procedures.
- Develop employee-facing materials and tools that enhance understanding of Total Rewards programs.
- Train HR Business Partners and managers on compensation, incentives, and benefits programs.
- Lead and support total rewards-related projects, including new program design, vendor implementations, and process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, and employee experience.
- Act as a key partner within the Rewards, Talent, and broader HR teams.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
- Deliver day-to-day leadership to ensure technical excellence and alignment with business needs.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 7+ years’ progressive experience in total rewards, compensation, and/or benefits.
- Proven experience administering STI and LTI programs.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in market benchmarking, salary structures, and incentive modeling.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Oracle, ADP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience supporting growing small to mid-sized companies, including building or evolving Total Rewards infrastructure.
- Direct experience with M&A activities, including due diligence, integration planning, and harmonizing compensation and benefits.

Compensation:
- The annual salary range for this position is $163,000-$210,000/yr.
