VetsEZ is seeking a Program Analyst (DAWA Support) to assist with activities related to the Data Collection Workbook Assistive Web Application (DAWA) in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. This role will work closely with and under the direction of the Senior Program Analyst (DAWA Superuser) to support scheduling, coordination, documentation, and user management activities during site transition and cutover events. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with geographically dispersed teams.
This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with scheduling DAWA data collection sessions and coordinating logistics with VA site staff.
- Support DAWA user management, including tracking access requests, onboarding new users, and maintaining site rosters.
- Help organize and track site SMEs for DAWA orientation calls and ensure readiness for upcoming sessions.
- Attend DAWA sessions alongside the Senior Program Analyst to provide coordination, note-taking, and follow-up support.
- Contribute to maintaining DAWA documentation, including checklists, quick reference materials, and the DAWA Teams site.
- Assist in monitoring and responding to inquiries in the DAWA Teams Q&A channel.
- Review DAWA session recordings and extract key information to support Scheduling Q&A and lessons learned documents.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for DAWA weekly meetings, training calls, and internal coordination sessions.
- Collaborate with the Senior Program Analyst, program managers, and technical leads to ensure DAWA-related tasks align with program objectives and site cutover milestones.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Healthcare, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting federal healthcare IT or program management initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills with experience coordinating meetings, schedules, and multi-team activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to track, document, and communicate across distributed teams.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Additional Qualifications:
- Prior experience supporting VA programs or healthcare IT initiatives.
- Familiarity with DAWA or other cutover/migration data collection tools.
- Experience developing or maintaining user guides, process checklists, or project documentation.
- Certifications such as SAFe Scrum Master, CAPM, or PMI-PBA.
