Job Description
This position is responsible for inventory control in the maintenance shop, as well as receiving and storing parts, maintenance supplies, and miscellaneous receivers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. some of these duties include:
Issuing Tools and Parts: Distribute tools, parts, and equipment to workers and maintain accurate records of items issued and returned.
Inventory Management: Control parts room inventory, ensuring that all items are properly stocked, identified, and organized.
Order Processing: Identify and order necessary parts and equipment to maintain adequate inventory levels.
Record Keeping: Initiate and maintain all required records pertaining to maintenance parts, including tracking usage and managing documentation.
Locating Items: Assist in locating lost or misplaced tools and parts.
Maintenance Support: Provide support to maintenance personnel by ensuring they have the necessary tools and parts to perform their tasks efficiently..
Requirements:
Experience: General knowledge and experience with parts and tools preferred.
Inventory experience is also preferred.
Computers: General knowledge and computer skills are required. Experience with Excel & SAP is preferred.
Work Schedule: Monday – Wednesday 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Thursday 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM
