Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented FP&A Finance Director to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for overseeing various indirect budgets with a focus on facilities spend.  You will partner closely with Facilities Management, and Executive Leadership to ensure that facility investments and operating budgets align with organizational strategy, cost efficiency, and long-term sustainability goals.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Financial Leadership & Strategy

    • Participate in the development and management of the facilities operating budget and long-range capital planning.

    • Provide financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis to support decision-making for facilities operations and capital projects.

    • Partner with senior leadership to align facilities expenditures with organizational strategy and priorities.

  • Budgeting & Cost Management

    • Participate in the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of facilities budgets (operating, capital, and project-specific).

    • Track and analyze expenses related to utilities, maintenance, leases, etc.

    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.

    • Develop financial models and business cases for new projects and space utilization decisions.

  • Facilities Operations Support

    • Partner with Facilities and Operations teams to evaluate vendor contracts, procurement strategies, and long-term maintenance costs.

    • Provide financial input into sustainability and space optimization initiatives.

  • Leadership & Collaboration

    • Serve as a key liaison between Finance, Facilities Management, Procurement, and Executive Leadership.

    • Present financial results, project updates, and recommendations to senior executives.

What Skills You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in facilities management, capital projects, or real estate finance.

  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial modeling, and capital planning.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to partner with both financial and technical teams, translating complex data into actionable insights.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Strategic thinker with strong financial acumen.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to influence and build consensus across diverse teams.

  • Commitment to operational efficiency and sustainability.

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00

This position is eligible for incentive compensation.
