As the Engineer - Systems, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure. You will ensure the seamless integration and optimal performance of various systems including servers, networks, and cloud services. You will be responsible for managing and supporting Microsoft Team Room technology to facilitate efficient communication and collaboration within the organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud services.
  • Manage and support Microsoft Team Room technology to enhance team collaboration and communication.
  • Coordinate with other teams, Inside and outside of IT, including, but not limited to facilities and project managers.
  • Collaborate with Vendors on selection of hardware. 
  • Develop and maintain Knowledge articles and user guides.
  • Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) concepts and tools such as Terraform for system provisioning and management.
  • Configure and deploy applications and services using Microsoft Azure.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex IT issues.
  • Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree - Information Systems, Computer Science or related field required; Masters Degree preferred
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Azure technologies and services such as Compute, Storage, API Management, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions
  • Knowledge of designing and building fully automated DevOps CI/CD pipelines 
  • Strong understanding of PowerShell scripting
  • Experience writing scripts to automate mundane tasks
  • Strong understanding of Windows
  • A working understanding of enterprise networking concepts like CIDR
  • Experience designing, configuring, and deploying applications in Microsoft Azure 
  • Understanding of complex applications, micro-services, and serverless use cases
