Mission:
The Head of Data and Analytics will be responsible for leading the group’s data strategy, ensuring the organization leverages its information assets to drive strategic decision-making. Acting as the main reference point for data, with high exposure to C-Level executives, this role will design modern cloud-based architectures, drive advanced analytics, and establish strong data governance practices to ensure quality, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Data Strategy: Define and implement the organization’s data roadmap, prioritizing strategic use cases and measuring the business value generated.
• Architecture & Technology: Design and implement cloud-based information architectures (Google Cloud Platform), integrating and consolidating multiple data sources using Databricks and BigQuery.
• Team Leadership: Lead the BI analysts and specialists team to generate impactful executive dashboards and reports, scaling the area into a comprehensive ecosystem including data engineers, data scientists, and governance practices.
• Advanced Analytics: Promote the use of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistical models to enhance business decision-making.
• C-Level Engagement: Act as the strategic liaison between business units and executive leadership, ensuring clear executive communication, priority management, and alignment with corporate goals.
• Data Governance: Define and oversee standards, security policies, compliance, and data quality to ensure reliability and consistency of business information.
• Scalability: Prepare the data function for organizational growth, maturing processes, structures, and capabilities as data volumes and business complexity increase.

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of experience in data and analytics, with at least 4 to 5 years leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong track record in cloud data architecture, preferably with Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with Databricks and BigQuery.
• Experience in data integration and building data warehouses.
• Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Looker) and executive reporting.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics: machine learning, AI, and statistical models.
• Experience presenting results and strategic proposals to C-Level executives.
• Proven ability to manage strategic projects and high-performance teams.
