A new exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Partnership Manager - Supporting our delivery of ECO through our outsourced partnerships.
Our Partnership Management team is responsible for the operational management of a large portfolio of 3rd parties who deliver ECO & GBIS measures to Octopus. From procurement to performance management this is a role where communication and stakeholder management is key as it requires daily collaboration across multiple internal and external teams.
This role is remote with travel as required to meet with partners nationwide and Octopus teams based in the Midlands.

What you'll do
You’ll be responsible for the delivery of measures through multiple partners in line with contractual obligations
You will set delivery expectations in line with signed contracts and commercial direction. Managing the consistent flow of delivery, and its quality.
You’ll be the eyes and ears of ECO – gaining business intelligence from and sharing with partners and the internal team to make sure we are at the forefront of the industry
Quality is key so you’ll carry out desktop audits to identify risk and make sure delivery is future proofed
You’ll learn about new technologies and get on the job training to give you the skills to assist partners and internal teams on the ever-changing ECO landscape.
Create and maintain multiple data and reporting suites to ensure transparency and delivery across the scheme
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise third-party performance, data quality, and service delivery
Building and strengthening strategic relationships with managing Agents, Installation Companies and Local Authorities
You’ll develop ECO knowledge and then apply it to help Partners overcome obstacles faced working in a government funded industry.
Problem Solving - nothing is insurmountable - you’ll anticipate problems and find solutions – sense checking them with your team
Facilitate ongoing contractual and business partner reviews both remotely and in person with your portfolio of partners
What you'll need
Experience of ECO/GBIS scheme is essential
Experience managing third-party commercial agreements and leveraging them for performance optimisation.
Strong understanding of operational and industry processes, with the ability to drive performance improvement initiatives.
Exceptional stakeholder influencing and management skills at all levels.
Comfortable creating and using data to drive insights and support decision-making.
An interest in and willingness to develop in continuous improvement to enable facilitating initiatives, focusing on enhancing processes, service delivery, and efficiency
Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
