Your Job

- Creating an ambitious, clear product vision and communicating “the story” effectively to key stakeholders and the rest of the team
- Collaborating at a strategic level
- Owning the end-to-end product strategy from inception, and determining business value once the solution enters production
- Building a backlog of product features by writing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Continuously improving the backlog, ensuring all items are clearly described and prioritised by applying systems thinking
- Ensuring customer-driven design, considering user pain points and usability test results
- Defining sprint goals and driving sprint and release plans
- Participating regularly in sprint events to guide product development
Your Profile
What you should have.
- Degree with a focus on business administration or computer science, or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in the role of Product Owner
- Knowledge of relevant domains and products, industry trends, user demands and pain points; the ability to create a high-value product vision
- Affinity for technology and the ability to engage in discussion with the Data & Analytics team to understand risks
- Ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders; strong leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive solutions and progress
- Strong analytical skills to aid in creating user stories
- Excellent communication skills and business fluency in English
Desirable extras.
- Several years of leadership experience and/or project experience related to data analytics
- Several years of experience in the retail industry (preferably in the areas of assortment, supply chain management or stores)
- Experience in managing external partners
- German language skills
