About the Role:
In the role of Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for the maintenance management aspects for the UGP. You will work in collaboration with the UGP Manager and the Maintenance Manager in order to guarantee the maintenance expected performances (time, cost), while managing relationships with other relevant stakeholders. The Maintenance Coordinator will need to be technically sound, as well having strong critical thinking and judgement; and very good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
Main Responsibilities:
• Supports budget planning and management with Maintenance Manager, including gap analysis and investment tracking.
• Assists in failure data analysis and predictive maintenance planning with TDM.
• Develops and maintains SOPs and work instructions for equipment.
• Creates preventive/predictive maintenance plans, coordinating with UGP and Maintenance Manager.
• Plans shutdown activities and monitors progress.
• Prepares daily/weekly intervention schedules, adjusting for resource availability.
• Identifies corrective actions and evaluates auto-maintenance opportunities.
• Shares best practices, monitors job progress, and defines corrective actions.
• Supports KPI development and standardization of maintenance practices.
• Manages contractor activities, ensuring compliance with Ferrero policies and GMP standards.
• Coordinates site access, job monitoring, and post-work requirements.
• Updates technical drawings and supports document archiving.
• Assists with asset register updates and certification documentation.
• Oversees requisitions for non-codified and UGP-specific items.
• Manages codification of store items under Maintenance Manager’s scope.
• Supports design, implementation, and cost tracking of new investments.
• Prepares RFQs, manages asset requisitions, and ensures proper installation.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance maintenance systems and equipment performance.
Who we are looking for:
• Strong knowledge of Ferrero product technology, food sector processes, and maintenance strategies
• Expertise in machinery, tools, and equipment design, usage, repair, and upkeep
• Solid understanding of business principles: strategic planning, resource allocation, and team coordination
• Proven experience in managing large-scale maintenance projects
• Skilled in building and maintaining effective relationships
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel), AutoCAD, and SAP
• 5+ years in Production/Maintenance (strong asset)
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence and convey information clearly
• Strong critical thinking, sound judgment, and decision-making abilities
