Job Description:THE JOB
Our Account Management team in Canada is seeking a Bilingual Account Manager.
ACCOUNT MANAGER
The Account Manager is responsible for the retention and development of ongoing relationships between Coface and its key clients, as well as their intermediaries in order to maximize revenue and retention of profitable clients. The Account Manager serves as a product reference and a problem solver for Coface’s client.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Builds strong customer relationships through regular and proactive communication using various media and collaborative tools.
- Responds swiftly and appropriately to questions and concerns from clients and their intermediaries.
- Utilizes a consultative approach in determining the most effective coverage for a particular client need in administering pricing tools in preparation for renewal bids.
- In conjunction with the Sales Executive, structures and prices quotes with commercial underwriters who will review and approve the terms to be offered.
- Assesses and communicates coverage needs with risk underwriters in order to maximize acceptance rate for clients.
- Communicates client needs and demands to Coface.
- Delivers critical data to the client; translating critical information into client needs.
Account Management:
- Acts as a central point of contact for the client and/or its intermediaries.
- Works proactively on renewals and address any potential risks/vulnerabilities in advance.
- In conjunction with Sales Executive, prepares and presents sales proposals/renewal offers in order to meet renewal revenue targets and achieve maximum sales profitability.
- Demonstrates all Coface offerings to existing clients to determine those solutions best suited for their needs. Develop and execute cross selling strategies to Coface’s existing clients.
- Identifies weaknesses in the portfolio and comes up with solutions while ensuring client retention.
- Performs Standards of Care outlined for clients within their designated client segmentation.
- Collaborates to ensure timely renewal of policies, confirm all contractual documentation and full compliance with company rules and external regulators.
- Forecasts and tracks client account metrics.
- Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients.
- Coordinates with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service.
- Services multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines.
- Keeps records of client transactions.
Market Knowledge:
Establishes and ensures credibility with clients by clearly articulating detailed current market conditions and aligning the Coface value proposition vs our competitors.
Communication:
- Supplies management with verbal and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Develops, maintains, and levers strong relationships with intermediaries in order to increase client retention.
Qualifications:
The Candidate
In order to be considered, you must possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least three (3) years of administrative experience in credit insurance, banking, claims, or factoring organization would be beneficial.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Bilingual in French required.
- AMF License for Quebec, or ability to pass licensing course upon hire.
- Ability to work onsite out of Toronto HQ or Montreal office 2 days a week/3 days remote.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and multitasking capability.
- A high level of responsiveness toward the client, the team, and ancillary operations.
