Summary:
The Medical Director will oversee the clinical operations and medical services of Alliance Healthcare Services. This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services, developing and implementing medical policies and procedures, and providing leadership to the medical staff. The Medical Director will work closely with the CEO and other senior management to align medical services with the organization's mission and goals.
Education Requirement:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Experience Requirement:
Minimum of 5 years of Clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Licensure/Certification Requirement:
Valid medical license in the state of Tennessee.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Clinical Oversight: Supervise and ensure the quality of medical services provided by the organization.
• Policy Development: Develop, implement, and update medical policies and procedures.
• Staff Leadership: Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to medical staff, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Program Development: Design and implement healthcare programs that meet the needs of the community served by the organization.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
• Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the medical department's budget.
• Community Engagement: Represent the organization in community outreach and partnership activities.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on medical services and outcomes to the Executive Director and Board of Directors.
