The President’s Office is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Office Assistant through the Work-Study program. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop and enhance administrative skills in a professional office environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, eager to learn, and comfortable performing a variety of clerical and front-office tasks.

Position Details:

  • Hours: Up to 19 hours per week

  • Schedule: Flexible based on student availability and office coverage needs

  • Eligibility: Applicants must be eligible for Financial Aid Work-Study funding to be considered

Position Duties

  • Provides high quality customer service to faculty, staff, applicants, and the general public.
  • Answers multi-line phones, triages employee and applicant requests, troubleshoots.
  • Responds to and directs inquiries presented to the President's Office. 
  • Supports President's Office team with record management including filing, copying, scanning and shredding documents.
  • Creates a variety of documents, forms, and spreadsheets using Microsoft and Google products.
  • Helps with office supply inventory.
  • Audits various spreadsheets.
  • Assists with meeting preparation including room set-up and organizing meeting materials. 
  • Manages and distributes office’s mail.
  • Performs other duties as required.

  • Basic computer skills
