Find your purpose as the Director Academics & Career Planning to become an integral leader to ensure CentraCare is an exceptional health system to learn and grow as health care professionals! In partnership with Academic Steering Committee, the Executive Director Learning & Education, and Clinician Experience team, this position initiates and maintains strategic, collaborative relationships with educational institutions to meet the workforce needs of CentraCare today and in the future. 

In this role you will lead, coordinate and manage activities necessary to ensure the efficient and effective operation of CentraCare Health student experience activities and career planning activities. You will be responsible for overall operations related to students, including onboarding, regulatory compliance, academic affiliation agreements/contracts, and facilitation of related technology. You will have an opportunity to lead creation of new, and optimize existing, support programs for internal employee educational advancement, such as career observation program, tuition assistance, and operations of scholarships. 


Schedule Details:

  • Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks
  • Monday – Friday, primarily 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • This will be a hybrid position, mostly remote, but will require on-site in office (in St. Cloud) for meetings.  
     

Pay and Benefits (Total Rewards):

  • Starting pay $98,184.03 per year, exact wage determined by years of related experience
    • Salary range: $98,184.03 - $147,254.14 per year 
    • Salary and salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

  • Retirement with matching, up to 7.5%

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Healthcare Management or related field required. 
    • Master’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Healthcare Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in healthcare education/academic program management environment required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience required.
  • Previous Project Management and Program Development experience required.
  • Accuracy and efficiency with PC/database/word processing platforms.
  • Experience managing and leading a team through systemic change.
  • Ability to make strategic, operational, and administrative decisions in response to emerging conditions and environmental circumstances.
