CTG is seeking to fill an RLP Infrastructure Support opening for our client in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Duration: 6 months
Duties:
Provide generalist infrastructure support across server, storage, networking, and cloud environments.
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure reliable operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents, escalating when necessary.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and configurations in alignment with IT policies.
Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams to support business needs.
Assist with disaster recovery, backup validation, and system resilience activities.
Document infrastructure processes, procedures, and configurations.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies (servers, networking, storage, virtualization, cloud).
Experience with system administration and monitoring tools.
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Familiarity with ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management.
Strong teamwork, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in infrastructure support or system administration.
Hands-on experience with Windows and/or Linux environments.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) preferred.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure environments.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
