Graphics Coordinator en ABX Innovative Packaging Solutions

Job Summary:

The Graphics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all graphic files meet print specifications and press optimization standards. This role serves as a key liaison between the graphics department, ink team, and pressroom, ensuring print readiness and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review new and updated graphics to ensure correct specifications and optimization for production at the MKE facility.
• Collaborate with the Ink Supervisor to enhance print quality and performance.
• Order new or replacement printing plates as needed.
• Develop and maintain work instructions and form control documents related to graphics and plate mounting processes.
• Manage the isolation and scheduling of obsolete (OBS) plate destruction.
• Inspect plates for first-time orders to verify accuracy of artwork.
• Attend customer press approvals to provide technical support and representation.
• Assist press operators in resolving print-related issues.
• Serve as the designated backup to the Ink Supervisor.
• Review production travelers for accuracy before releasing them to the manufacturing floor.
• Communicate upcoming graphics changes to the scheduling team.
• Analyze and respond to CIS’s issued to the press, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of all graphics, ink, and mounting equipment to meet production standards.
