The Business Systems Analyst provides leadership in the evaluation and implementation of information systems which optimize operational efficiency throughout Web Industries.  This role will gather important company data as it specifically relates to business processes and compile it into specifications and reports our internal IS programming team can use for customizing software and overall streamlining of business processes.  This position offers a unique perspective into our business as it allows for direct implementation of customized solutions to address specific business needs and requirements. 
The ideal candidate is skilled at engaging others and will lead cross-functional teams, often across multiple facilities, towards the identification of improvement opportunities, evaluating and prioritizing the respective solutions, and executing their implementation through a documented project plan-based approach, with a focus on enterprise-wide quality compliance. The right person for this role has demonstrated an ability to act as an agent of change.

Responsibilities include:
 • Manage execution and implementation of information systems at each Web Industries facility:

  • Working closely with Web Industries facilities to:
    1. ensure quality requirements are satisfied
    2. develop specs for integration of data across multiple enterprise level systems
    3. develop specs for IS for all data-based continuous improvement initiatives
    4. apply LEAN principles that identify areas for improvement, reduce waste and optimize processes
    5. help with prioritization of improvement initiatives
  • Use working knowledge of systems to:
    1. drive standardization of data-related processes across Web Industries
    2. assist Web facilities with process mapping
  • Conduct validation of enterprise software with respect to:
    1. new process testing, negative testing, and testing of all changes which may affect labeling, traceability, costing, inventory, bills of material, etc.
  • Engage with Technical, Quality, Accounting, and Operations departments on:
    1. validation of software requirements
    2. assistance with inventory auditing & reporting
    3. develop standard work for creation/input of parts (raw, WIP, finished) 

Education Requirements:

Associates’ Degree in related discipline and 5-10 years’ experience in operations or an equivalent combination, preferably within aerospace or medical industry

Bachelor’s Degree preferred 

Experience Requirements:

  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and lead teams without a direct reporting relationship
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or manage change
  • Understanding and experience with Enterprise level systems (ERP, Quality Management, and Customer Management).
  • Quality Standards ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO14001, AS9100
  • Operation processes (quoting, sales orders, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, etc)
  • Regulated industry customer requirements
  • Accounting systems
  • Inventory valuation and costing
  • Lean manufacturing processes and techniques
  • The right candidate will possess good project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects, stay organized, and drive projects to completion. 
  • Multilingual is a plus

Additional Requirements:

Availability to travel domestically and international as job function requires

The position is onsite 4 days a week split between Marlborough Massachusetts and Dayville CT location with one additional day remote
