The Patient Flow Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the smooth movement of patients through the practice, ensuring efficient and timely care delivery. This role focuses on tasks like preparing rooms, assisting with patient rooming, and coordinating with various teams to optimize patient flow.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Fosters a positive and successful working environment, creating partnership with team members, leadership, and providers.
- Assists leadership in coordination of the patient flow and ensuring a smooth clinic operation.
- Monitors status of available technicians, testers and team members to coordinate patient care and reduce patient wait times.
- Prepares patient rooms as necessary to expedite the rooming of patients.
- Communicates with team members and providers to facilitate patient movement throughout the clinic and address any patient concerns.
- Escalates any patient and/or team member concerns to the Clinical Supervisor/Practice Administrator.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School diploma or equivalent, required.
