We have an immediate opening for an entry-level Associate Marketing Performance Analyst (AMPA) in our Overland Park, KS office. The AMPA will leverage a dynamic set of data analysis and visualization tools to create, maintain, and QA client marketing performance datasets and dashboards. The role will also assist the MMGY media team with client website analytics tracking implementation, development of marketing measurement and creative tagging strategies.

 

Responsibilities:

 

The AMPA will be responsible for helping deliver monthly client campaign reporting.  This includes working with the team on custom client dashboard builds and PPT presentations from data produced from advertising campaigns.  In addition, the Associate Marketing Performance Analyst will be responsible for maintaining ad hoc datasets within MMGY’s database.

 

  • Assist with building and maintaining client-facing performance Tableau dashboards
  • Collect and analyze data from external marketing vendors 
  • Work with Media team on ad hoc reporting requests
  • Help coordinate data connections in performance reporting database
  • Collaborate with MMGY Account, Media, Social, eCRM, Paid Search, Creative, and MarTech teams to collect requirements for dashboard builds
  • Establish and adhere to client and internal deadlines
  • Track hours and manage to SOWs for accurate billing of time and resources
  • Research latest technology and trends on data visualization best practices and communication

 

Qualifications & Skills:

 

The AMPA must possess a fundamental understanding of data analysis, data visualization,  and excellent written and communication skills, with confidence to explain campaign performance metrics to audiences of all experience levels.

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Finance or similar preferred 
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge (SQL experience is a plus)
  • 0-1 year of internship/business analytical work, specifically data visualization software experience; Tableau-specific experience is a plus
  • Digital media experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated history of meeting weekly and monthly deadlines
  • Strong desire to learn new concepts, software, and data analysis/visualization techniques
  • Independent worker eager to demonstrate personal accountability 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
