Description
Sunnyside is seeking a compassionate and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our vibrant team! In this vital leadership role, you’ll work closely with the Director of Nursing to develop, guide, and elevate our nursing services, ensuring our residents receive the highest level of care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
As ADON, you'll provide hands-on leadership, operational support, and clinical oversight, helping shape a positive and engaging team culture while ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required (Virginia Board of Nursing).
- Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- 2–4 years of nursing experience (long-term care experience preferred).
- Proven leadership ability and strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and healthcare software.
- Strong critical thinking and time management skills.
- Ability to lead during high-pressure situations with professionalism and poise.
