Job Title: Senior Logistics Manager

We are in search of a Senior Logistics Manager with heavy expertise in logistics, freight, warehousing, and advanced supply chain systems (ERP, WMS, and TMS). This leader will optimize end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple manufacturing sites, with emphasis on transportation management, distribution network optimization, and warehouse operations excellence. The location for this position will ideally be in Faribault or Burnsville, MN.
This role provides the ability to redesign, build, and shape Trystar’s logistics and distribution strategy, while ensuring seamless integration with manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will build and strengthen freight and warehouse processes, and leverage digital systems to deliver customer service excellence.

In this role you will get to:- Demonstrate Trystar’s guiding principles and values.
- Provide leadership and direct contributions to manufacturing sites and supply chain teams, with a focus on logistics, warehousing, and freight execution.
- Lead transportation management (domestic and international freight, carrier selection, routing, rate negotiations, and compliance) to achieve cost and service goals.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, distribution, storage optimization, and warehouse safety initiatives.
- Manage and enhance ERP (Epicor preferred), WMS, and TMS systems to ensure accurate logistics planning, visibility, and execution of supply chain activities.
- Drive inventory accuracy optimization processes
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for freight cost, on-time delivery, warehouse efficiency, warehouse capacity utilization and inventory accuracy.
- Partner with sourcing, operations, IT, and finance to deliver logistics solutions that support growth and innovation plans.
- Implement Lean/Continuous Improvement projects across warehouse and logistics operations to increase efficiency and reliability.
Job Requirements:- B.S. or M.S. in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred).
- Advanced certification such as APICS, CPIM, CLTD, or Six Sigma a plus.
- 7–10 years of progressive leadership in logistics, freight, warehousing, and distribution in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise with ERP, WMS, and TMS systems (Epicor and related platforms preferred).
- Strong business acumen with deep understanding of logistics cost drivers, freight negotiations, and warehouse optimization.
- Proficiency in data analytics (PowerBI, Excel, etc.) to drive insight-based decisions.
- Track record of leading high-impact improvement initiatives across warehouse and transportation networks.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with ability to influence across all levels.
Preferred Experience:- Experience managing global logistics operations, including import/export and customs compliance.
- Strong track record working with 3PLs (third-party logistics providers) and optimizing outsourced logistics partnerships.
- Knowledge of trade compliance regulations, documentation requirements, and tariff management.
- Hands-on experience leading large-scale warehouse automation or digital transformation projects.
- Proven ability to design and implement distribution network strategies to support high growth environments.
- Expertise in cost-to-serve analysis and driving continuous freight and warehousing cost optimization.
- Ability to integrate logistics systems (ERP, WMS, TMS) with broader enterprise platforms for improved visibility and performance.
