Assistant Construction Modular Project Manager

Job Summary   

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Manager in any projects as well as supervise and advise employees on PCI Support Services projects.

Duties and Responsibilities      

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing all phases of modular construction projects, including design, fabrication, transportation, and installation.
  • Supervise and direct construction and manufacturing personnel to ensure adherence to project requirements, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to review and assess modular facility layouts and specifications.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources; prepare and present progress reports to senior management.
  • Support field implementation activities, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
  • Provide problem-solving and troubleshooting support for project-related issues in both manufacturing and field environments.

   

Qualifications 

• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in construction and manufacturing, with a strong emphasis on modular facility design and field implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction/engineering or related field required.
• Proven supervisory and leadership experience in construction and/or manufacturing settings.
• Thorough understanding of modular construction processes, standards, and field practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency with construction management software and related tools preferred.
