The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that all products perform as expected in the field by conducting quality reliability testing, and to identify critical checks for the Quality Control audit section.
This position is based in our St. George, UT location and reports to the Quality Control Manager. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Enjoy weekends off!
This position has a competitive rate between $17 and $22/hour plus the opportunity to receive an additional company profit-sharing bonus every 3 months. A day of the job of a Quality Assurance Technician:
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and excellence of our products. Your responsibilities include conducting thorough reliability testing and performing root cause analyses to identify and address potential failures. With a keen eye for detail, you will troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical issues, providing valuable recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will consult with development teams to review and address reliability concerns and work closely with manufacturing partners to implement effective solutions. Your communication skills will shine as you effectively relay defect and root cause information to Engineering, Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE), and Business Units (BU).
Reading and interpreting material datasheets, specs, and schematic diagrams, you will meticulously follow test procedures, accurately running and documenting tests. Additionally, your active participation in Product Development Gates, scrums, and various action items, including tasks like photographing samples, building variations, and collecting weights, will contribute to the overall success of our projects. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in the Pilot Build phase, identifying design for manufacturing issues and critical checks for QC Audit.

Physical requirements:
Able to constantly move about the facility. Able to lift up to 40 lbs. at any given time. Could be on your feet up to 8 hours a day.
