Oceanography Adjunct Faculty Opportunity

Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025, is excited to announce an Adjunct opportunity for the position of Oceanography Adjunct Faculty with Applied Science and Technology Division.  We are seeking a dedicated professional who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant workplace community.

What You’ll Do
As Adjunct Faculty, the day-to-day responsibilities will include: 

• Provide instruction, service and support of college policies and procedures, along with opportunities for professional development.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate who brings a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate must have

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in accounting, geology, oceanography, meteorology, environmental sciences or earth science or;
• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in geology, oceanography, meteorology, environmental sciences or earth science or courses related to science + Master's degree.

This position is primarily for in-person, on-campus courses taught on a variation of days (Monday through Friday) on the Main Campus in Tallahassee, Florida. The time blocks are during the morning and early afternoon. Some midday courses may be available.
