What will your day look like:
- Manage and maintain case files, technical reports, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate scheduling of site visits, inspections, and expert witness appointments
- Liaise with solicitors, insurers, and clients to ensure timely delivery of reports and updates
- Support engineers with document formatting, data entry, and report preparation
- Maintain internal databases and case tracking systems with accuracy and confidentiality
- Monitor and facilitate field experts’ data downloads
- Assist in quality assurance checks and compliance with ISO and legal standards
- Prepare and distribute technical documentation for legal proceedings
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of expert reports
- Provide administrative support for technical meetings, including minute-taking and follow-ups
- Support procurement and inventory of specialist equipment and software
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Previous experience in a technical, legal, or engineering administrative role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with case management systems or CRM platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of forensic or investigative processes is advantageous
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths – essential
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent – desirable
- Legal or technical administration training – advantageous
