Head of Global Quality Management

 

As our Head of Global Quality Management for Fragrance & Beauty (F&B), you will lead the development and implementation of the Quality Management strategy of the Fragrance & Beauty Division, including its culture and associated behaviours, its control processes and standardization, product specifications and validation to protect and enhance product quality.

 

Reporting to our Global Head of Operations F&B, you will:

Strategy design and execution
•    Provide key Quality Management information for the definition of the Operations strategy and related objectives.
•    Define and execute the QM strategy and related tactical and operational plans to meet QM specific objectives.

 

Function management
•    Develop plans and implement procedures and methods/protocols to define and maintain the quality of products in accordance with established policy, including brand standard equivalence, (raw) materials quality standards, finished product specifications and product approval requirements.
•    Provide testing and release services in support of established schedules by being the primary technical liaison with counterparts in Operations, S&T and Commercial.
•    Conduct evaluation programs within deadlines, specifications, and approved budget(s).
•    Conduct audits/investigations to measure compliance with quality requirements and correct deviations.
•    Prepare and review quality related section(s) of regulatory filings whenever required.
•    Represent the quality control perspective of Operations in critical projects.
•    Keep current with all laws and regulations affecting ingredients and products to ensure these are compliant, need reformulation or must be retired.
•    Execute the annual operating plan within approved budget.

 

People management
•    Oversee the execution of annual human resources processes within QM organization and validate related results.
•    Work with the Global Operations management team and HR Business Partner(s) in developing a talent pipeline for the Quality Management.
•    Drive the development and promotion of QM talents within Operations.
•    Coach and mentor staff in all aspects of their job performance and career development including training, feedback, rewards, and other actions.

 

Your professional profile includes:

Academic Background
•    Bachelor Degee or equivalent in Science, Engineering or Quality Management
•    MBA or master’s degree in technical field is preferred.
•    Sensory or analytical qualification 

 

Professional Experience
•    20+ years of experience in Quality operations with strong background in aroma chemicals business, quality and/or materials management, projects, organizational change, business process redesign, systems implementations, enterprise risk for complex organizations.
•    Experience in Fragrance Industry.
•    15+ years of progressive experience in people management.

 

Technical Skills
•    Expertise in world class manufacturing concepts (LEAN-Six Sigma) Green Belt Certificate.
•    Expertise in Quality Management Systems & Quality Requirements
•    Expertise in people leadership
•    Expertise in change management.
•    Strong understanding of business process/system redesign.
•    Strong understanding of financial concepts (FCF, ROI, OPEX, CAPEX).

 

This role can be based in one of our following offices: Vernier, Argenteuil, Paris, Ashford or Sant Celoni.
