Job Purpose

Ensure width and depth of distribution of CP products in the assigned Modern Trade zone and implementation of company’s strategies through availability and transparency of the products so as to achieve the sales and distribution objectives in the zone.


Key Accountabilities

  1. Driving Business Growth
    1. Achieve CPS (Colgate Palmolive Sales) and STT (Sales To Trade) targets every month
    2. Drive GTMs on Focus Brands, Share of Business, and efficiency parameters
  1. Managing Customer Relationships:
    1. Ensuring a balanced relationship with customer, stockist and store manager.
  1. In-store execution:
    1. Plan and execute to achieve maximum impact through visibilities in stores
  1. Inventory Management
    1. Ensure availability of optimum stocks by ensuring accurate planning and MBQ (Minimum Base Quantity) setting to each customer
  1. Handle Trade Promotion Claims
    1. Ensuring that claims from each customer collected debit note and submit to the Direct Trade finance team as per norms and keep track of their settlement
  1. Analytics and Data Based Decision Making
    1. Use data to drive overall business performance.
    2. Analysing market data, distribution metrics, business trends to identify growth opportunities
  1. Lead and Develop Resources
    1. Assign schedule work to stockist sales associate, merchandiser, champion (promoter)
    2. Continually elevate team capabilities through appropriate training interventions
      Monitor team performance and provide support/solution when needed
    3. Ensure the quality of communication on trade promotions are cascaded to team

 

EXPERIENCE:

Min 3 years of overall CD FMCG experience

Having experience in handling SAMT (standalone modern trade) customers
