Job Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience in the QA industry. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Python automation for web, API, and data workflows, along with strong hands-on experience in Selenium, Pandas, SQL, and PDF/Excel automation. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure Pipelines, proficiency in Git-based version control, and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies are essential to ensure efficient, scalable, and reliable automated testing that drives high-quality software delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Python automation scripts to streamline complex workflows.
- Utilize Pandas for advanced data manipulation, transformation, and analytical tasks.
- Automate Excel-based reporting, formatting, and data integration using Openpyxl or equivalent libraries.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to read and extract data from PDF documents using Python libraries (e.g., PyPDF2, pdfplumber, PDFMiner).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable, reusable solutions.
- Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines and manage code using version control tools (e.g., Git, Azure Repos).
- Monitor, debug, and optimize existing automation scripts for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation workflows and provide training/support to internal teams.
- Conduct functional, regression, and cross-browser testing to ensure web application quality and usability.
- Develop and maintain Microsoft SQL scripts for data validation, transformation, and automated reporting.
- Automate API testing and integration workflows using Python libraries (e.g., requests, httpx).
- Perform data-driven API testing, including authentication handling and response validation.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong proficiency in Python, with a focus on scripting and process automation.
- In-depth experience with Pandas for data wrangling, analysis, and aggregation.
- Proficient with Openpyxl or similar libraries for Excel file manipulation (read/write, formatting, data validation).
- Proficient with any Python libraries (e.g., PyPDF2, pdfplumber, PDFMiner) for PDF Document automation.
- Solid understanding of Excel formulas, pivot tables, and data validation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium for web automation and UI testing.
- Experience with unit testing, error handling, and logging in Python.
- Familiarity with JIRA for issue tracking and Agile workflows.
- Proficient in SQL, with experience in writing and optimizing queries for data validation and reporting.
- Practical knowledge of API testing using Postman and Python-based tools.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure Pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
