Job Overview:

POSITION FOCUS

The Tour Guide at The Stanley Hotel is an enthusiastic storyteller who brings the rich history, spirited legends, and iconic status of The Stanley Hotel to life. Responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through engaging, informative, and entertaining tours, the Tour Guide represents the heart of our hospitality and ensures each guest leaves with memorable moments.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads a variety of tours including The Historic Day Tour, The Spirited Night Tour, and special seasonal tours.
  • Shares compelling stories of the hotel’s history, paranormal lore, and cultural significance with accuracy and enthusiasm.
  • Ensures guest safety and comfort throughout the experience.
  • Provides excellent customer service by answering guest questions and offering recommendations for other hotel amenities.
  • Maintains professionalism and energy in both large and small group settings.
  • Prepares for each tour by reviewing historical content and practicing delivery.
  • Assists with ticket scanning, guest check-in, and merchandise recommendations.
  • Contributes to guest satisfaction scores and overall tour program success.

 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • All other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
