Location: Hybrid with up to 50% travel to client location. Candidates located within 25 miles of a DXC office will be required to work onsite 2 times per week.

Overview:  The SAP Technical Delivery Lead – CPQ/ CPQ/E-commerce is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of SAP CPQ and SAP Commerce Cloud solutions. This role combines strong technical expertise with delivery leadership, ensuring high-quality solution implementation, adherence to SLAs, client satisfaction, and seamless collaboration across onshore and offshore teams. Acting as the primary liaison between clients and delivery teams, the Technical Delivery Lead drives business value, solution excellence, and continuous improvement in SAP CPQ/ CPQ/E-commerce engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Delivery Leadership

  • Serve as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for clients on technical delivery and operational matters.

  • Represent delivery teams in client governance meetings, steering committees, and reviews.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and value-driven technical solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders and business leaders.

Project & Enhancement Delivery

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of SAP CPQ and E-commerce (Commerce Cloud/Hybris) projects and enhancements.

  • Oversee solution architecture, technical design, and documentation in alignment with SAP best practices.

  • Manage integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.

  • Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and system optimization.

  • Drive deployment activities, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.

SLA & Incident Management

  • Ensure all incidents, service requests, and enhancements are tracked and resolved within agreed SLAs.

  • Proactively identify SLA risks and drive corrective actions.

  • Provide oversight of weekly incident reports and represent delivery in RTB (Run the Business) calls.

  • Act as the escalation point for critical delivery and process issues, driving RCA and preventive measures.

Team & Offshore Coordination

  • Lead cross-functional and distributed delivery teams across onshore/offshore models.

  • Conduct regular sync-ups with offshore teams to relay client expectations and feedback.

  • Mentor team members on process compliance, solution quality, and delivery best practices.

  • Provide backup support for AMS resources and guide teams during MTP deployments.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify automation, process optimization, and efficiency opportunities as per SAP ICX guidelines.

  • Deliver quarterly Service Improvement Plans (SIPs) to clients.

  • Stay current with SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP CPQ product updates, and industry best practices.

  • Actively participate in RFPs, estimations, and pre-sales activities related to SAP CX solutions.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and SAP CPQ.

  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

  • Experience with REST/SOAP web services and integration frameworks.

  • Knowledge of SAP Data Hub, middleware tools, and cloud integration platforms.

  • Proven track record in technical delivery leadership across AMS and project environments.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and escalation handling skills.

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Minimum 5+ years in SAP technical roles, with at least 2 years in a lead capacity.

  • SAP Commerce Cloud and SAP CPQ certifications (preferred).

  • Experience in global delivery environments and onsite-offshore coordination.
