- Develop and maintain medical policies and procedures in collaboration with the Health Care Supervisor and Assistant Vice President.
- Coordinate medical services with physicians, clinics, residential providers, and families.
- Administer and document medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide first aid, emergency care, and triage for participants and staff.
- Document interventions and participate in Support Plan processes and case conferences.
- Conduct pre-admission reviews of medical histories and needs for prospective participants.
- Assist participants with personal care needs, including dining, toileting, and transfers.
- Train staff and participants in relevant medical and health-related program areas.
- Foster dignity, respect, and growth in participants, ensuring age- and culturally appropriate care.
