Crush Operator en ADM Erith Ltd

Your Responsibilities
 

• To ensure the safe and efficient running of the whole Crush Process, responsible for own personal safety and of that of people working in the area.
• To ensure the safe and efficient running and good product quality of the solvent extraction plant in in liaison with production colleagues and management.
• To ensure the smooth running and product quality of the seed preparation and expelling processes in liaison with production colleagues and management.
• To provide cover for the positions of Extraction Operator and Expelling Operator as and when required.
• To assist with the training & development of new Extraction & Expelling Operators.
• To ensure Health and Safety, food safety, environmental compliance regulations and company standards are maintained in the Crushing Operation.
• To ensure all department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently met, and any deviations are promptly investigated and documented in operational logs.
• To perform small maintenance related jobs and liaise with maintenance department in regards more complex matters.
• To ensure safe start-up, running and shutdown of plant and machinery in the crushing process areas.
• Ensure product throughput and quality is maintained to required levels in the crushing process areas.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness following GMP guidelines in the production areas.
• To accurately maintain production process records and paperwork.
• To liaise with other process departments to ensure the whole process is running smoothly.
• Report plant machinery issues in Maximo
• To assist, actively participate and contribute to Performance Excellence initiatives at Erith.

Your Profile

• Excellent safety knowledge in a production environment.
• Experience in an Oilseeds crushing production department.
• Educated to GCSE (or equivalent level) with good basic mathematical & English written skills.
• Good IT skills, able to use email and basic computer packages.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• A strong affinity to continuous improvement in a production environment.
