About The Role

DP World have an exciting opportunity for a Director – New Business for our Logistics Park.  This role will drive strategic growth across high-impact sectors including retail, e-commerce, cold chain, manufacturing, automotive, and food & beverage. In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll be at the forefront of identifying and securing new warehousing, logistics, and supply chain opportunities—crafting tailored solutions, forging influential relationships, and unlocking new land acquisitions across the UK and EU.

How You Will Contribute

• Define and implement strategies for promoting and securing customers to London Gateway. Formulate and implement strategy to acquire new sites in the UK and EU. Provide value propositions and develop value added E2E services to our existing and new customers. 
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Top level contact with potential park occupiers to deliver a superior product and build strong, profitable and long-term client relationships.
• Establish and track long-term performance indicators (KPIs) for our retained letting agents and other external stakeholders. Direct and drive performance management culture within the team ensuring that staff meet their targets in line with the business needs.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and outcomes. Owner & developer of the customer target list (CRM).

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. A Masters degree and professional certification (RICS) is desirable.
• Extensive senior experience in warehousing/logistics with a strong business development background.
• Proven success in at least two of the following sectors: retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, automotive, food & beverage and cold chain.
• Strong demonstrable negotiation and commercial skills.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to balance vision with practical execution.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, and financial modelling.
• Ability and confidence to clearly articulate Real Estate and strategic supply chain solutions: including a knowledge and understanding of forecasting and demand planning, network design and optimisation and DC location planning.
• Experience of structuring and concluding sophisticated commercial deals.
