Your role in the team

The Document Management Consultant contributes to the design and development of the strategies to expand our capabilities to produce and design our documents. Also provides project management coordination and support within subject matter expertise for Document Strategy across the enterprise.

The individual will involve cross-enterprise initiatives, support product and technology efforts, gain exposure to and work with many areas such as Claims, Allstate Canada, Operations, Legal, Encompass, and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all supported projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and deliver planned results; provide input to key project decisions and escalate issues.
  • Achieve seamless project delivery and results through high performance environment, reporting on success criteria/metrics, communicating results to stakeholders, course correcting and offering innovative solutions.
  • Gain deep subject matter expertise related to programs and functionality implemented/supported.
  • Support the development of business requirement documents, providing detailed descriptions of technology needs.
  • Draws connections to interrelated initiatives across the Enterprise and assist with the formulation of action plans to ensure smooth implementation of all initiatives.
  • Demonstrates ability to anticipate, identify, reproduce, and resolve problems in area of specialty, including business, process and technical problems.
  • Supports the development/design of new plans, programs & processes of moderate complexity.
  • Provides business/technical consultation on smaller projects.

Essential skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with the document management ecosystem.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience of working knowledge of processes, policies, and procedures relevant to document management and generation.
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a customer or Client facing position.

Desirable Skills:

  • Agile Certifications.
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in Project/ Product Management
