Role/ Department:
Northern Trust Banking & Markets encompasses global banking, treasury management, lending and benefit payments, alongside the global trading desks for all equities bonds and FX trading, securities lending and financing and repo trading.
This is a Leadership role responsible for overseeing the bank’s operations and strategy within the EMEA region.
The role involves managing multiple institutional clients and driving business growth across the region.
The role holder will build the team and define the client and service model, accountable for client relationships, revenue generation and overall performance of the banking division in the region.
A key component of the role will be the implementation of CRD6 regulation and building the capability set in Europe for Northern Trust’s banking solutions to institutions.
Ideally you will have a book of clients/ business in the alternative space who we can leverage our solutions and partner with to drive growth.

Skills/Qualifications
- In depth expertise and knowledge of the European banking industry
- Proven ability to drive business growth in previous roles in the banking sector
- Has successfully operated at a senior level in a similar organisation/bank
- Knowledge of banking regulations and experience of working with regulators
- Accountability for generating revenue and managing profit and loss for a business
