This role within the North America Sales & RGM Analytics team focuses on empowering RGM and sales strategies through analytical tools, processes, and insights. More broadly, the position aims to enhance Colgate Palmolive's understanding of profitable growth drivers. Key responsibilities include developing tools and analyzing market dynamics to identify opportunities and contribute to the creation of growth strategies at the brand and category level. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide analytical support to RGM strategies by extracting insights from various syndicated databases, retailer POS, panel, and relational databases

  • Develop dashboards using visualization tools to address RGM and Sales analytics requirements

  • Build presentations that arm our RGM and Sales teams with fact-based data when implementing new strategies

  • Collaborate with offshore teams to establish analytics solutions, enabling the organization to efficiently monitor and analyze market dynamics and competitive trends.

  • Collaborate with external vendors throughout the lifecycle of analytics projects, encompassing the setup, validation, execution, and delivery of analytics studies such as assortment and price & promotion elasticities.

  • Through market analysis, identify category segments that present opportunity for Colgate Palmolive

  • Develop and present actionable recommendations from data mining and analysis

  • Work with Marketing and Category management teams to identify SKU Assortment priorities each year to promote products most incremental to the portfolio

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 4+ years of experience 

  • Experience with syndicated data (e.g., IRI, Nielsen)

  • Strongly preferred experience querying relational databases (e.g., SQL).

  • Experience with cloud environments and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, GCP) and data integration pipelines.

  • Experience in data cleansing and validation, coupled with the ability to synthesize insights from diverse data sources to develop compelling narratives.

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel/Google Sheets and MS PowerPoint/Google Slides

  • Advanced skills in data visualization tools (e.g. Sigma/Tableau/Power BI/Looker/Domo) 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to price elasticity and Assortment / Incrementality studies

  • Experience with retailer-specific point of sale data

  • Experience leveraging panel data for enhanced insights

  • Basic understanding of Python/R (or a willingness to learn)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work cross functionally

  • A self-starter with the initiative to identify opportunities for business growth through data exploration and analysis.


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $117,000.00 - $133,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
